Guidelines for Authors

Authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines while submitting their research articles to Saud: The Journal of Commerce, Management and Economics:

  1. Manuscript Format
    • The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
    • Use Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing, and 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
    • The manuscript should be typed on A4-size paper.

      2. Cover Page

    • A separate cover page must be included with the following details:
  1. Title of the paper
  2. Full name(s) of the author(s)
  3. Designation(s) and institutional affiliation(s)
  4. Official address(es), contact number(s), and email address(es)
    • No identifying information about the author(s) should appear beyond the cover page to ensure a blind review process.

      3. Abstract and Keywords

    • A concise abstract (150–250 words) must be included on the second page, summarizing the theme, objectives, methodology, key findings, and policy implications of the research.
    • Include 5–6 keywords below the abstract.

      4. Length of the Paper

    • The full paper should not exceed 5000 words, including references, tables, and appendices.

      5. Content and Scope

    • The article should be an original, unpublished work and not under consideration elsewhere.
    • It should focus on commerce, management, economics, or their allied areas, and demonstrate sound methodology, rigorous analysis, and practical or policy relevance.

     6. Submission Process

    • Authors must submit a soft copy of the manuscript to: editorsaud@ckbcc.ac.in

     7. Tables, Figures, and Illustrations

    • All tables, figures, and illustrations should be clearly numbered and placed immediately after their citation in the text.
    • Hand-drawn, traced, or scanned figures will not be accepted.

     8. Notes and References

    • Avoid the use of footnotes. Any explanatory notes should be placed as endnotes, before the list of references.
    • All in-text citations must correspond to entries in the reference list, and vice versa.

     9. Citation and Referencing Style

    • The journal follows the APA 7th edition style for both in-text citations and reference lists.
